When you think of workplace conflict, what comes to mind? Arguing? Compromise? Finding solutions? Do you think of gossiping and hurt feelings? Or colleagues taking ownership for mistakes?   Whatever you think of, conflict comes down to a difference of opinions involving strong emotions. Conflict triggers behaviors in each of us, from destructive to productive responses.  And while conflict can be very uncomfortable, it is a natural and inevitable part of relationships.

As HR Leaders, how do you handle conflict when you are in it yourself or when you are called upon to “mediate” between two people who are embroiled in debate and discord.  Attend this session and leave with a greater understanding of how to change destructive conflict to a productive exchange of opposing opinions or thoughts.

  • ·         Lead others in elevating their awareness around conflict mind-sets and behaviors to improve your workplace environment and culture.
  • ·         Discover coaching techniques that can curb destructive conflict and improve workplace relationships.
  • ·         Gain tips and tools to take back to your organization to deal with this inevitable part of your workplace environment.
