of an aging workforce

Tuesday October 9th, 2018

Mid-Cities Community Church, Room AC2

8700 Highway 191 Midland, TX 79707

Join PBSHRM for our November Luncheon on Tuesday Nov. 13th at Mid-Cities Community Church Room AC2 from 11:30-1:00 for an engaging panel session on "Reaping the benefits of an aging workforce."

More than half of America baby boomers plan to work past age 65 or not retire at all, according to a report by the Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies. In some workplaces, negative attitudes pervade about the cost of older workers, their stamina, their technological ability and their enthusiasm for learning new ways.

The PBSHRM Panel will discuss practical ways to engage and support workers over 50, as well as debunk some of the stereotypes that are associated with an older workforce.

Featured Panel Members

Dr. Michele Harmon, Ed.D, SHRM-SCP - PBSRHM President

Deborah Williams, PHR, SHRM-CP - HR Manager Fasken Oil and Ranch, Ltd.

Frank Heslin - SVP West Texas State Bank
