​The Permian Basin SHRM Chapter is proud to establish the Leigh Tarzian Learning Award in loving memory of our friend, leader, and mentor, J. 'Leigh' Tarzian.

​Continuing Leigh’s Legacy of Mentorship

​Leigh was a pillar of our HR community. She served on the PBSHRM Board beginning in 2010, led our chapter as President from 2016-2017, and guided countless members as Certification Chair. Her steadfast dedication, leadership, and mentorship have left a lasting impact on us all.

​More than her titles, we remember Leah for her passion for helping others grow. For years, she dedicated herself to teaching the SHRM Learning System, personally guiding and empowering numerous HR professionals in the Permian Basin on their path to certification.

​To continue her vital work, the Leigh Tarzian Learning Award will be presented annually to a deserving PBSHRM member, covering the cost of the SHRM Learning System and enabling them to achieve their professional goals.
